Abstract

The authors investigated the transformation possibilities and particularly the usage of non-affine transformations of maps in order to analyse the current status and development possibilities of the Hungarian railway system. In the introduction, the authors overview the theoretical background of map transformations and then present the detailed description of the non-parameter affine transformations and their applicability to the evaluation of railway networks.
